Day 1
Arrive Melbourne
A warm welcome to your "AUSTRALIAN ESCAPE" tour.
Upon arrival at the International Airport, you will be met by an ATG Tours representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Please arrive into Melbourne before 1100 hrs.
After reaching your hotel store your luggage with the concierge and make your way to to the MCG.
Later avail of the public transport to make you way to the MCG Gate to join the guided 1Hr Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) tour
(Operates between 1000-1500hrs on non-event dates).Return to the Hotel on your own and check in.

Day 2
Melbourne
After breakfast in the hotel proceed to enjoy and discover the charm of Melbourne on a City Tour.
Pass by Cook’s Cottage, home of Captain James Cook’s parents and the Queen Victoria Market. Fitzroy Gardens and the Royal Botanic Gardens provide a quick escape from the urban landscape. Feel the thrill and adrenaline coursing through your veins as you see Albert Park, home to the famed Australian Grand Prix. The Royal Exhibition building - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Federation Square are architectural masterpieces and historic venues for events. Nearby the Parliament House is an enduring symbol of democratic governance. Pay a visit to the Shrine of Remembrance and the Southbank precinct. St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Princess and Regent Theatres leave you gaping in fascination at the architectural marvels.
In the afternoon proceed to Philip Island from Federation Square for a tour. Koalas in their natural habitats are a delight to observe, and the coastal scenery at Nobbies is a sight for a sore-eyes. At dusk watch adorable little penguins waddle back to shore, after which you will be dropped back to Federation Square to return to your hotel on your own.

Day 3
Melbourne
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, embark on a trip to the Great Ocean Road to discover some of the most photographed landscapes. The full day-tour comes with a visit to the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge all before lunch (on own), thus beating the afternoon rush. Enroute we take you on an inland journey, halting first at Port Campbell National Park, famous for its wave sculpted rock formations, followed by an afternoon with your experienced driver-cum-guide, leisurely meandering along the Great Ocean Road, stopping a while to take in the spectacular coastal scenery and the beauty of the seaside townships. The Otway Rainforest is another attraction with its lush greenery, ancient trees and diverse species of plants and animals.

Melbourne - Cairns (By air)

This morning, check out of the hotel as you are transferred to Melbourne airport for your flight to Cairns. (Flight cost is not included).

Cairns
Today after a buffet breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to the great Barrier Reef terminal.
A full-day tour in the Big Cat Cruise to Green Island allows you to discover the underwater beauty of the world’s largest coral reef system- The Great Barrier Reef. Aboard comfortable vessels for exploration you can soak in views of the ocean, and if lucky, also some marine life like dolphins and turtles. Inclusive of your tour is a glass-bottom boat tour, so that even if you prefer to stay dry you can still enjoy the unique views of the underwater without getting wet.
At an additional cost you also have the option of viewing the reef from a semi-submersible boat. This is a convenient option for those who may not want to scuba dive or snorkel but still want to experience the marine life and the coral formations.

Day 8
Sydney
Enjoy Breakfast at your hotel. Following which you will be driven to the city center for a Panoramic Tour of Sydney which gives you a comprehensive view of the city’s iconic landmarks and stunning harbors. Admire the world-famous Sydney Tower and enjoy the breathtaking sight of the city’s skyline from the Harbour Bridge, from where you can also see the Sydney Opera House. Next will be a visit to Manly Beach which is a mix of natural beauty and a laidback beachy lifestyle. You also stop at Mrs. Macquarie’s chair for another view of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.
The tour ends at the City Center point from where you will return to your hotel on your own. In the afternoon exchange your Combo 3 Pass voucher for any 3 admissions to Sydney Wildlife/Madame Tussauds/Sea Life Aquarium/Sydney Tower Eye with 4D experience/Sea Life Aquarium at Darling Harbour.
In the evening proceed to King Street Wharf by 18:50-1900 hrs to join the Sydney Show Boat Cruise-a popular dining and entertainment experience while on a scenic cruise. The cruise will come with standard seating and a delicious meal. Be sure to have your camera with you for an opportunity to take some stunning pictures as you glide past Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the city’s skyline.

Today after breakfast at the hotel you will be taken for a full-day tour to the Blue Mountains and the Featherdale wildlife Park.
Stretching over a million hectares and considered a UNESCO World Heritage site the Blue Mountains boasts of dramatic cliffs, canyons, ancient Eucalyptus forests and breathtaking landscapes. Later visit the Featherdale Wildlife Park, an immersive experience with native Australian wildlife. Get up close and personal with koalas, perhaps even take a photo petting or holding one of these marsupials, hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies as these gentle creatures approach you for a snack.

Refund Policy
The Cancellation Policy is as follows:
- Once a partial or full payment has been made by the client, cancellations will only be agreed upon in writing.
- All cancellations must be received prior to the tour departure date and are subject to cancellation fees as noted above.
- For any self-purchased air tickets, you need to contact the airline directly to amend cancel your reservation. ATG Tours shall not be responsible for any self-purchased air tickets cancellation, though we can assist you throughout the process.
- For any air tickets purchased with ATG, it is mandatory to contact ATG Tours directly for all refund requests, as the airline will not be processing refunds of your tickets that were booked through us. Your tickets that need to be canceled must be intimated to ATG tours as soon as possible

Booking Terms
- Payments for the trip are to be made in USD by credit card according to the following schedule:
- 50% of the program cost to be paid as a deposit will be required at time of booking.
- The remaining 50% of the program cost is due 90 days prior to departure.
- If booking is made less than 90 days before departure, full payment is due within 72 hours.
- Airfare is calculated at the time of proposal creation and is subject to change at the time of booking.
- ATG Tours reserves the right to cancel the booking in case of any unavoidable circumstances, natural calamities, acts of war and force majeure per the terms and conditions.

By joining our program, passengers certify that they are qualified to enter and exit countries visited within the confirmed travel program and cruise itinerary and/or have obtained necessary visas, if required, accordingly. All Passports, Visas, Public Health Documents, and other travel s required for embarking or disembarking must be obtained by, and are the sole responsibility of, the Passenger.
Travel insurance is recommended for this program.
Please keep in mind, the itinerary and outdoor activities during each trip are solely dependent on weather and operational conditions to ensure the safety and quality of experience of our guests. The route and shore landings (if applicable) will be determined by the captain and expedition leader and communicated to guests through regularly scheduled briefings. ATG Tours reserves the right to modify the landings and locations visited during a voyage based on weather and local conditions and climate to ensure a safe and delightful experience for all our guests and staff. Our trips are expeditionary in nature, and thus changes to timings are commonplace due to the environment we operate in as well as wildlife opportunities and locations.
All the passengers will be provided with the final itinerary and a recommended packing list before departure so they can plan and pack accordingly. Please be aware that opportunities to replace or purchase required items during the program will be limited.
